Caring for a loved-one can be unbelievably stressful and tiring. It can cause anxiety, stress and illness. In order to be at our best as a carer, you need to be mentally and physically fit yourself. This is where we come in – offering expert specialist respite care to give you the chance to take routine breaks to re-charge your batteries.

What is respite care?

This is a temporary arrangement that we offer where our highly-skilled carers step in to support your loved one, whether they are infirm, suffering from serious or terminal illness or dementia. Put simply, respite care gives the regular carer a break.

Caring can be both mentally and physically demanding. It can put an enormous physical and emotional strain on the carer. The respite care we provide will give the main carer a break while making sure your loved-one’s care needs are catered for in full.

The respite care we offer can be –

  • live-in care – where the carer lives in your home, giving company and support night and day.
  • visiting care – just a touch of extra support, maybe for an hour or two every day – as much or as little as you need.

Maybe you need short-term care, perhaps for a family emergency. Our respite care makes sure your loved-one always has someone there to help them whenever it’s needed.
